Welcome to Affiliate Storefront. By downloading our WordPress plugin, using our API services, or accessing affiliatestorefront.com (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our software.
1. Description of Service
Affiliate Storefront is a WordPress plugin designed to help users create visual product grids and storefronts. The Pro version utilizes an external API routing service to fetch product data (such as images and prices) to bypass traditional API limitations.
2. Disclaimer of Affiliation
Affiliate Storefront is an independent software tool. We are not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Amazon.com, Inc., or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates. The name “Amazon” as well as related names, marks, emblems, and images are registered trademarks of their respective owners.
3. User Responsibilities and Amazon Compliance
As a user of our Service, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Compliance is Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Affiliate Storefront complies with the Amazon Associates Program Operating Agreement and all other applicable terms, policies, and local laws.
- Risk of Account Action: We do not guarantee that using our software will prevent account warnings, suspensions, or bans from third-party affiliate networks. You use this Service entirely at your own risk.
- No Earnings Guarantee: We make no guarantees regarding affiliate commissions, conversion rates, or site traffic resulting from the use of our Service.
4. Payments, Licensing, and Refunds
All sales, licensing, and payment processing for the Pro version are handled securely by our Merchant of Record, Freemius, Inc.
- Licensing: Purchasing a Pro plan grants you a license to use the premium features and our data-fetching API for the specified number of sites as long as your subscription remains active.
- Refunds & Cancellations: All refund requests, subscription cancellations, and billing inquiries are governed by Freemius’s terms and policies.
- Fair Use: Our API infrastructure is subject to a fair use policy. We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate API access for individual license keys that generate abusive, automated, or unreasonably excessive server requests.
5. Service Availability and “As Is” Software
We strive for 99% uptime, but we do not guarantee that our API or the plugin will be error-free or uninterrupted.
- External Changes: Our Service relies on fetching data from external, third-party websites. If those websites change their structure, HTML, or security protocols, our data-fetching API may temporarily or permanently break.
- As Is: The software is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for broken images, missing prices, or lost affiliate revenue resulting from software bugs or external site changes.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Affiliate Storefront, its creator, or its suppliers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of data, loss of affiliate revenue, or business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use our Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, including revoking your Pro license key without a refund, if you are found to be abusing our API infrastructure, reverse-engineering our software, or violating these Terms of Service.
8. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms of Service at any time without notice. By continuing to use the Service after changes are made, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
